Due to company growth and development we are looking for an Mechanical Site Fitter at our Newbury (Berks) Depot.

Job description

Barnfield Engineering is an expanding company with sites in Newbury, Salisbury and Hertfordshire. Due to customer growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Site Fitter working from our Head Office, South of Newbury, West Berkshire.  To work on a variety of interesting projects throughout the M4 corridor.

We work mainly within the water industry and specialise in providing complete mechanical engineering services – from design and fabrication through to installation.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to consistently work to high standards. Experience in working with mechanical installations, steel structures & handrailing's would be beneficial.

Mechancial Site Fitter Requirements:

·         Experience of motor, gearbox installations, commissioning, and maintenance.

·         Experience of pump installations, commissioning, and maintenance.

·         Happy to work on all aspects of the services we provide such as steelwork and pipework installations.

Overtime and weekend work is available with competitive rates of pay.

The role will be primarily site based and full driving license is essential.
