Barnfield Engineering is an expanding engineering company, providing support and services to Water Utility companies.

Due to company growth and development we are looking for an experienced Document Controller
This is a part time role but could possibly be full time dependant on the candidate.
Competitive salary based on experience

 

Responsibilities:

Will be responsible for accurate management and safeguarding of documentation generated by the project team, contractors and suppliers in support of the day-to-day operation of the project and in a manner that will enable all relevant parties to quickly retrieve them.
Produce, update, and manage the master drawing register / Issue drawings to the relevant parties as and when required
Manage and oversee the implementation of DMS system throughout the company.
Ensure and track on weekly basis that all departments are uploading all documents and emails (both digital & paper) related to enquiry, project or design as well as all files related to IMS system.
Generate weekly reports highlighting each departments progress.
Work closely with each department to refine DMS and the implementation & follow up.


Skills:

Previous Document Control experience.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Be highly computer literate, especially with Excel, Word & Outlook.
Be capable of multi-tasking reliably in a busy environment, no two days are ever the same here.
Show high level of client confidentiality.
Be proactive with a ‘can do’ attitude.
